Check this out!

New Website:
Come on by and
leave me a little note!

I have been busy.
Sale month at Chartreuse and co.
and a great one at that.
Thanks to all our shoppers.

BUT here is some of my custom work
for two cool gals opening their new shop in Frederick Md.

I love finding a new canvas to inspire.
Any salvaged piece makes for heightened
interest and texture.
One of a kind in both the surface and the art.
Original.
Just like Angelique and Saule of
Silk & Burlap
Those pictured here were done exclusively for them.
I am just thrilled
to be even a small part of their new adventure.

DO NOT MISS IT!

Hmmmm....google yourself an you never know.

Interesting.
I was just googling my own name
as I am in process of building a
 web site.

It is not coming up in the google search in the first few pages.
I still have to figure that out.

I am a... little...
awkward
at best
but am up to the challenge.
Sorta.

I found this...

I am in the top connected facebook blogs under "create".
Well maybe I am #30 but still.
What?
I barely have followers!
Although the ones I have I love!!!
Who would have thought?
Google yourself!

Oh and please stop by my web
and leave me a comment.
I am such a newbie
and need all the encouragement
 I can  beg for muster.

Where did my Helga powers go?

OK so you may or may not know,
I go by Helga.
(Gail or Svetlana,
as she likes to be called,
 and I in good form!)

Helga because my strength
is well beyond what an...a....
well seasoned gal should be able to do.
So need a buffet moved up  to the barn...
no problem.
Need that high boy moved to the sale area from upstairs...
no problem.

Meantime paint 5,742 signs.
Make dinner.
Drive to ballet.
Feed cats.
Do laundry.
Smile.
THEN

More carting about in my own home because
"I need a change".
Dresser into living room from hall,
 table to hall,
drop leaf table from shop to family room,
move that chair here
no there,
well,
 maybe here...
My quaint little home...NOT!

You get the picture?
Add the heat...
And I am officially
TIRED.
Baby pass out kinda tired.

Still tired....
AND MOST OF ALL
LUCKY!!!
Reallllllllly Lucky!
One good life, tired but oh so good.

My Peeps...

A photo gallery of my peeps...
How it began, our adventure
to Lucketts Spring Fair

Loading up the trucks...
                  The gang           Denny and Andrew

We are here...how did we do it?
Holding my signs I painted for the shop entry.
Where the heck is Robin?

The "before".
We had to pack everything onto the stage
until the next afternoon.
Furniture Tetris!
Goodness.

So after much work,
Gail and I after a full day...
We set our space from 2-9 p.m. on Thursday.
I NEED to go to the beach!

So why did I NOT have pictures of the whole room?
Let us just write it off to me too tired to think straight.
It really was such an unbelievable reveal when we were all done.
Who would have thought?

And after the sale...
Not much left for us to load back to the shop...
thank goodness.

Even a few of these items were already sold
but we took back to the barn for the customers.

Gallery of lovelies...
Virginia and Frannie

The Ladies of Silk & Burlap!
Saule and Angelique
Lindsay and Wendy
Gail, her "mountain man" and
the third wheel...ME!
Wendy, Kelly and Lindsay
Nice! Real nice my friend! Hahaha.

So it is done, thank goodness.
It was a great success and
no one could have done it without the
full support
of the entire gang of

Oh and such a fun moment...
I got to meet my blog friends
and

Here are Cassie and Marian.
Such sweet, lovely ladies and
full of talent!

A few days later...
A Birthday celebration today for our
 friend and fearless leader Virginia...
Winnie, Va with her girls, Kelly, Fran, Lew, Sue and Gail!
I escaped and took the picture, yeah me.
I am sorry we all couldn't be here.
I missed so many of our pals.

So, hats off to all of the gang.
I think it is time for a NAP!
 ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
One more thank you to all....
Molly

P.S.  I will do links soon to all of the
Chartreuse and co. girls soon.
Check out the site above
and you can find links to them all!
Must rest for now...

Recovery...

It has been ages and ages
since I wrote last.
For weeks I have been preparing for sales at
We had a special sale the first weekend,

Oh the colors!

Add more color for the next sale...
our normal third weekend.

BUT
add to that a special event at the
Lucketts Spring Fair.
Planning for all three events was a lot,
add filling four trucks with all our goodies
and heading to Lucketts
to unload and recreate our shop.
Man'o man.
Get this....
This was a riot...go peek.

The end result?

Getting to know eachother even better,
meeting new clients,
greeting blogger pals,
AND
little to bring back to the shop (hurrah!)

Left a little more tired, a lot more dirty,
and never more grateful for
the shoppers and my peers.
What a life...love it.

Molly

More soon
