Move in day!

So yesterday I
patched and painted...

Looks sorta ...
EMPTY!!!
Oh not for long.

Right side of my back hall

By the back door
 Side wall grouping

My new pillows...

 Grapevine Pumpkins
(inspired by my gals of
Beans and Buttons)

 Rustic cabinet on top of
an antique dresser
with original glass hardware.
 Over the back door
 My jelly cabinet
full of goodies for
Halloween

 Blue chippy window frame
with
hanging cedar shingle signs...
BOO
EEK
Don't let the DEAD bugs bite!
Little French server
under the window frame
Looking back along
the left side

Little drop leaf table
and four matching
hand painted chairs.
Oh and an antique
bicycle basket
full of 24" signs.

So there is your little peek.
I have more to add tomorrow...
lighting,
more fluffing,
a few new signs.

I got to visit
with the ladies a bit today
and I am so excited
to get to know them better.

This Friday eve
is the
First Friday in Leesburg.

Looks like a perfect nite for
wine tasting,
music,
good food
and even better
home furnishings.
Come on by The Cottage.

My New Nook

I am now the proprietor of my new little sign nook.

Items here in my little corner are
hand painted signs - loads of seasonal fun,
painted salvaged finds
 like the antique door
honoring the history of the Old Ebbitt Grill

and
 hand painted furniture.

I took this little nook
and made a home for my creations.
Come visit us at

And my house looks like this!
Well not anymore...for today!

Oh my...The show HOARDERS

It is like a train wreck I can't stop...why?

It is sad and horrible.
 It is overwhelming to watch
yet...
I keep watching.
My husband says I am nuts.

Am I alone here?
